Né en 1946 à Bordeaux, Michel Rozier apprend le travail des métaux à Paris dans un petit atelier où il passe plusieurs années.

Après avoir séjourné quinze ans en Australie, il revient en France et, laissant libre cours à son imagination, il travaille le fer tout autant que d´autres métaux et matériaux.

Son travail actuel est un hommage à nos ancêtres du néolithique. Ses totems tentent de restituer la spiritualité d’une période de l’humanité qui le fascine. Il travaille le fer doux, le cuivre, le bronze, le bois… et utilise la feuille d’or et les les pigments naturels.

Recherché pour l´authenticité de sa technique de forge alliée à la sincérité de son inspiration, Michel Rozier participe à de très nombreuses expositions collectives et personnelles, en France et à l’étranger (Allemagne, Espagne, Japon, Suisse, Angleterre).

Born in 1946 in Bordeaux, Michel Rozier learned his trade in a small Paris workshop where he spent several years.

Back in France after 15 years in Australia he has chosen to let   his imagination go and works with steel as well as non-ferrous metals and other materials.

His work is a homage to our ancestors of the Neolithic. His totems are an attempt to express the spirituality of this period, which fascinates him.   He works with mild steel, copper, bronze, wood and uses gold   foil   and natural pigments.

Sought after for the authenticity of his forge technique combined with the sincerity of his inspiration, Michel Rozier participates in numerous personal and collective exhibitions in France and abroad (Germany, Spain, Japan, Switzerland and Great Britain).
